PRESIDENT UHURU PLEADS WITH HIS FIERCE COMPETITOR RAILA, TO DO THIS THREE THINGS
President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday sent three urgent requests to his fierce rival Opposition leader Raila Odinga indicating that he should stop sideshows and allow Kenyans to engage in the election.
Speaking in Garissa, President Kenyatta noted that the duty of electing leaders was the right of every Kenyans and called upon the former Prime Minister to respect this right.
Secondly, the Head of State urged Mr Odinga to respect the Supreme Court ruling which ordered the IEBC to conduct a repeat election in 60 days.
"You are the one who took this case to the Supreme Court seeking a new election, the court ordered a fresh poll in 60 days.You should, therefore, respect the court orders and let us continue with the election," President Kenyatta stated.
