SUICIDAL GIRL WHO CAUSED MOI GIRL'S HIGH SCHOOL FIRE THAT KILLED 9 DETAINED AT KILIMANI POLICE STATION
Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i described the 2am fire as an arson. Police investigating the cause of fire said that it started from her bed. She is said to have set her mattress on fire on the fateful day.
The girl is likely to be held for a while longer by the police as they look to close the case. Other students questioned over the matter mentioned her as the mastermind in the fire.
The teenager who has been described as suicidal is also said to have been suspended from school over indiscipline.
