US MAKES ANNOUNCEMENT ON POSTPONING THE OCT 26TH PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION THAT HAS LET JUBILEE IN SHOCK
“The whole world will be watching Kenya. Let action be taken on those who will go against the law,” added Godec.
“We call upon President Uhuru not to sign the election laws before him. We know the signing of that election law will undermine the preparation of the election,” remarked the US Ambassador.
The ambassadors called upon Kenyans to look for solutions within the constitution and emphasised that the election must be held within the law.
They further pleaded with NASA and Jubilee Party to stop interfering with how IEBC was carrying out its activities as this would only slow down the election process.
As far as police brutality is concerned, the envoys urged them not to use excessive force in maintaining law and order.
