Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli is the least paid of all the East African presidents.

The no-nonsense leader shocked many when he revealed on national television that he earns TSh9 million, an equivalent of KSh415,804.

John Magufuli; KSh415,804 (Tsh. 9 million OR 4026.87 USD)

Paul Kagame; KSh 697, 900 (6,3618 USD) 

Uhuru Kenyatta KSh1.4 million (13,539.67 USD)
