IEBC CHAIRMAN WAFULA CHEBUKATI MAKES MAJOR CHANGES TO IEBC AHEAD OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati has, over a three-day period, made drastic changes to the structures within IEBC as well as electoral laws.
Mr Chebukati announced that staff had been re-organised to strengthen the management of the repeat presidential poll.
Without giving specific details, the IEBC boss told reporters that the priority for the reshuffle would be in strict adherence to the Constitution.

Issues raised by the National Super Alliance (NASA) will be addressed with the Supreme Court judgment so that whatever we do is in compliance with the Constitution," Chebukati stated.
The process that ended on Tuesday has seen the electoral code guiding election officials revised to specifically cater for the October 26 repeat poll.
