DCJ PHILOMENA MWILU'S BODY GUARD AND DRIVER SHOT AND LEFT FOR DEAD
The official driver and bodyguard of the deputy Chief Justice has been shot and left for dead near old Narobi Women’s Hospital.
The police bodyguard was driving near old Nairobi Women’s hospital after dropping the DCJ at her Karen home before he was ambushed and shot by the assailants.
Witnesses told police the driver was attacked by a man on a motor cycle who also grabbed his pistol loaded with bullets and sped off.
“It happened so fast, the guy just jumped off the motorbike and sprayed him with bullets,” another police officer said, quoting a witness.
Dagoretti OCPD said they were treating the incident as a robbery but investigations were still going on.

The Body guard is admitted at Nairobi Womens Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
