PRESIDENT UHURU DECIDES NOT TO SET FOOT IN NYANZA DURING HIS ELECTION CAMPAIGNS
President Uhuru and DP Ruto have decided not to set foot in Nyanza until after the October 17 repeat elections.
According to State House sources, the President has said that he doesn’t see value of campaigning in Nyanza when he will not get enough vote from the region.
The move has angered some of the point-men in Nyanza who were looking forward to the President and his deputy visiting the region. The President’s move was seen this week when he hosted Kisii leaders in Nakuru and not Kisii or Kisumu.
The Jubilee campaign team organised the transport of thousands of Kisii leaders to Nakuru, a distance of at least 200 kilometres.
