DRAMA AS IEBC CHAIRMAN CHEBUKATI EXCHANGE BLOWS WITH IEBC TOP MANAGER FOR USING HIS NAME TO CONDUCT ELECTION RIGGING

Drama ensued on Thursday after IEBC chair, Wafula Chebukati, exchanged blows with Director of ICT, James Muhati, who was sent on compulsory leave for a month before August 8th polls over misconduct.

Muhati was sent on compulsory leave by the commission over claims of sabotage and Chris Musando picked to replace him. 

But after’s Musando’s sudden death, Muhati was re-called to help in running the August 8th polls. 

Chebukati confronted Muhati on Thursday demanding to know why his password was used to conduct irregularities without his knowledge.
