EDUCATION CS FRED MATIANGI ANNOUNCES THE NEW OPENING DATES FOR 2018
The directive issued by Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang states that primary and secondary schools will open for the first term on January 2 and close on April 6.
Schools will later open for the second term on April 26 and break on August 3.
Thereafter the third term will commence on August 27 and end on October 26 to pave way for the national examinations.
Whereas KCPE will be held between October 29 and November 5, the secondary examinations will be held from November 5 to November 30. Here is the statement from the Ministry:
