You might have heard the rumors circulating around Facebook that China has been selling human meat disguised as corned beef. These h0rr!fic rumors have forced leaders from both Zambia and China to issue public statements addressing the matter.

Chinese Officials have recently released statements denying these allegations. Xinhua news agency in Zambia quoted an unnamed Zambian woman living in China telling people to stop eating Chinese corned beef. The woman claimed that the meat was made from human flesh.

The alleged sources say that the idea to use human meat came when China ran out of space to dispose of the dead. Others claimed that Beijing preferred to save its ‘good meat’ for richer, more powerful countries.

But the Chinese ambassador to Zambia issued a furious denial of the allegations. “Today a local tabloid newspaper is openly spreading a rumor, claiming that the Chinese use human meat to make corned beef and sell it to Africa,’ said Yang Youming, according to China’s Xinhua news agency.
